Adelisa Selimbašić (Karlsruhe, 1996) is an Italian-Bosnian artist who lives and works in New York. Her research, through painting and figurative compositions, addresses extremely current themes such as the relationship with the body, femininity, the canons of beauty, the dynamics of social networks and the construction of identity. Just thirty years old her works are already present in important Italian collections.
In 2026 she will have two solo exhibitions: at the beginning of the year in New York and, in March, at the Zara Zanin gallery in Rome. In 2024 she was a finalist for the Cairo, Milan Award. He has also taken part in numerous artist residencies, including Fountainhead Residency (Miami, USA, 2023), Fridman Gallery (Beacon, USA, 2023), Centre pour l'Art Contemporain (Essaouira, MA, 2022) and Viafarini (Milan, 2021).
The price range varies from 1,000 to 23,000 euros for large sizes.
